Bahrain Training

October 04, 2010

Lloyds British Testing Dubai have recently completed training courses in Bahrain for APM Terminals. APM Terminals manage cargo freight in sixty ports around the Middle East and North Africa and are the fourth largest in the world in cargo freight management.

Lloyds British Testing Dubai beat off competition from six other training companies for this contract. John Maiden (Country Manager) and Mike Lumsden (Senior Test Engineer) carried out two Lifting Equipment Inspection and Rigging and Slinging courses in parallel over a five day period in the Bahrain terminal.

Mark Hardiman (Senior Operations Manager) of APM took time to look in the courses and was more than impressed with the quality of the course and the professionalism of Lloyds British and is now looking to have this course carried out in various other ports around The Middle East and North Africa.

On top of the Afghanistan Training this is another major contract won over our competitors and is great news for Lloyds British Testing Dubai and its overseas profile.
