Lloyds British Training Services have confirmed their status again of being the UK’s premium Training Services provider by being appointed by Alstom Power to commence competency assessments for their personnel who undertake lifting, slinging and rigging activities nationwide.
Starting in February, Lloyds British will be working closely with Alstom Power to also develop specialist training modules which Lloyds will deliver at their training academy in Rugby.
Steve Downing, Group Training and Safety Director said "This is a great acolade for our employees and the company itself, in that Alstom Power have appointed us to work with them to achieve safer working practices in an industry that offers a multitude of hazard potentials during lifting practices".
Lloyds British Training Services now currently operate from six countries worldwide including the UK, UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, India and Ghana, with further new branches scheduled for opening in North and West Africa during 2010.
